The June 1 First Friday Art Walk, hosted by the Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center, is coming up and something for every taste is in store. Enjoy an evening in downtown Cedaredge with live music, food, wine tasting and local artists showcasing their latest work themed around the Grand Mesa, the backdrop of the beautiful Surface Creek Valley. Bring the kids for the kids' corner with cotton candy, sponsored by HopeWest.
The evening's activities include a demo by local artist Barbara Torke and Cindy Pomasl with Cingato Jewelry at the AppleShed. Next, stop at Impressionz Gallery from 5-7 p.m. to meet featured artist Scott Sullivan. Appetizers will be served. Find and enjoy a visit at Enchanted Mesa Gallery, Cedaredge's newest, mystical art space, located just north of the intersection on North Grand Mesa Drive (Highway 65). And don't miss the music at The Old Slaughterhouse Music Hall on East Main, featuring an art display and music by Compass and Cavern of Denver.
See www.grandmesaartscenter.com for information and come join in the fun!
