Hamner, Schutt seek support of Delta County voters

Millie Hamner and Robert Schutt faced off last Tuesday in a candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters and the Surface Creek Republican Women.

Hamner currently serves as state representative in District 61 -- the eastern portion of Delta County. Robert Schutt is the Republican challenger.

Cedaredge's Bruins hosted the 1A/2A San Juan Basin (SJB) League's top team on Saturday, Oct. 14. Nucla's Mustangs knocked off Ridgway, which was unbeaten at the time, to take over the top spot in the 2A SJB league and wanted to keep a lead over the Demons with a win in Cedaredge.
