Bruins beat Rangely

According to 3A WSL league standings, both Cedaredge boys and girls basketball teams are holding in sixth place with no wins and no losses. Overall, both teams are 5-3 and would be third based on those records compared to teams in the league.

Delta girls split, boys lose two

Delta's Panthers participated in a pair of basketball games this past week.

A short trip to Montrose to face 5A/4A competition resulted in losses for both the girls and boys teams. The girls fell 42-28 while the boys lost 62-43.

Delta wrestlers stay busy

Delta's Panthers were on the mat twice this past week, plus had a female wrestler, Makayla Mills, participate in an eastern slope meet just for girls.

Delta hosted Palisade's Bulldogs on Jan. 12 and were defeated 45-33.

Eagles earn exciting win in dual with Bruins

With the stands filled with cheering fans, and a single light highlighting the action on the mat, the dual meet between Cedaredge and Paonia on Thursday, Jan. 12, was filled with anticipation and drama. And with two evenly matched teams, the competition certainly delivered. The dual was held in Cedaredge.
