Elks program raises drug awareness

For the third year in a row, a Delta student has placed first in the state drug awareness poster contest sponsored by Delta Elks Lodge #1235.

Leeland Ball, a fifth grader at Lincoln Elementary School, won a 10-inch tablet from the Colorado Elks Association.

LES, CES continue Souper Bowl of Caring tradition

"All I can say is WOW!" Willyn Webb, executive director of Vision Charter Academy (VCA) and Food for Thought stated after learning that Lincoln Elementary School Student Council continued the Souper Bowl of Caring on its own. LES donated 2,425 food items. As a thank you VCA Food for Thought provided a $25 gift card donated by Daveto's.
