Delta softball team 11-0, 19-2 in 2018

Delta High School's 2018 softball team made history this season. The Panthers were the 3A District 5 champions with a league record of 11-0 and finished 19-2 for the season.

Applefest survives gloomy forecast

Rain clouds were attacking -- from the south and the north -- and radar outlined a swirling cauldron of dragon-shaped storm patterns surrounding Cedaredge. It was less than 48 hours before the start of Applefest 2018 and it was beginning to look like this year's festival was about to open smack-dab in the middle of a gloomy forecast.
