Are you Mensa smart? Mensa is an international society in which the sole requirement for membership is a score at or above the 98th percentile on any of a number of standardized IQ tests. Mensa is a community of knowledge seekers who enjoy conversation and camaraderie. One in 50 people qualify, why not you?
Mensa will be holding a testing session in Delta on July 31 to recruit potential qualifying new members. Candidates must be over 14 years of age, and those under 18 must have a parent's signature on the registration form. Register online and pre-purchase your testing voucher at www.us.mensa.org or contact Bonnie Horn Koehler at 970-260-4081 for additional information.
Thanks to the efforts of state Rep. Millie Hamner, House District 61, Colorado State University plans to re-open the Rogers Mesa research site.
The facility was taken out of operation in 2011, due to budget cuts throughout the CSU system.
