Black Canyon Camera Club will host the Chasing Light photography show and sale May 25-27, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Bill Heddles Recreation Center.
This entertaining show will be a display of just photographs, unframed and not matted. This has the added advantage of allowing a buyer to choose their own matte and frame after purchase.
This annual "photography only" show will showcase the many faces of photography. It is the only "photography only" show open to the public in western Colorado. The non-juried show is meant to encourage all photographers to share their talent and learn what other photographers are doing. It provides an entry level portal for novice photographers to experience the competitive show scene for the first time, as well as a venue for more advanced photographers. The show will also have the "Shutter Shop" where photographs not in the competition can be purchased as well as photography related items such as lenses, adapters, etc. See information at blackcanyoncamera.club or contact Nolan Thornberry at 925-984-5756, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Rae-Ann Simmons at 970-856-7809 or email@example.com with questions.
On May 18, officers of the Delta Police Department, with the assistance from the Delta County Sheriff's Office and Montrose County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search warrant at 960 Crawford Avenue, Delta.
