Ridgway's Demons played in Cedaredge on Oct. 6. The first two sets of match-play were victories for the Bruins 25-15 and 25-17. From there, Ridgway, (4-2 and 7-4) in 2A District 3, managed to squeak past the Bruins in straight sets 25-23, 25-22 and 15-10.
Cedaredge's final match of the week was against the visiting Rangely Panthers (8-0 and 13-2) of the 2A/1A Western Slope League.
The Panthers played well to sweep Cedaredge 25-22, 26-24 and 25-18.
