No one knows how to do August like the Town of Cedaredge, and this weekend will be jam-packed, filled with family-friendly activities that will showcase just how wonderful the Surface Creek Valley is. After spending the day at the VFW Post #9221 pancake breakfast at Stolte Shed and Celebrate Cedaredge at the town park from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., head home for a quick catnap and then head back to town park for the annual Party in the Park community potluck, hosted by the Cedaredge Town Council.
Party in the Park takes place from 5-8 p.m. The mayor and trustees will be grilling up burgers, and the community is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and kick back under the shade and enjoy live music by David Starr while kiddos enjoy jumping on a bump n' jump.
"We hope everyone can come out and enjoy the party with us!" said Mayor Gene Welch. "This is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and neighbors."
