The ambulance district voters overwhelmingly approved the increase, with 65 percent (3,962 votes) voting yes and 34.8 percent (2,115) voting no.

Crawford voters turned down a mill levy increase, with 60.2 percent (94 votes) saying no and 39.7 percent (62) voting yes. The town council will meet Wednesday night, Nov. 8, to continue working on the town's budget knowing it will not have additional funds to work with. The proposed mill levy increase would have provided approximately $14,000 additional funds to work with.

The ambulance district question increases the mill levy by 3.250 mills to a total of 5.750 mills, increasing its revenue by approximately $585,050 in 2018.
