Delta County Women's Connection (DCWC) is excited to host its July 12 event for the women of Delta and surrounding areas from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Delta Christian Church. This month DCWC presents Celebrate America. Feel free to wear your red, white, and blue attire!
Focusing on providing a quick retreat from the hustle and bustle of the everyday, the DCWC event is a great place to unwind, laugh, learn, share, and re-charge in the company of other women. Because this is a catered event, reservations are appreciated. Reservations for children will be needed as well, and moms are asked to bring a sack dinner for each child.
This month's guest speaker Robin Reese speaks about how to be secure in an insecure world, and her life in Africa as the wife of a corporate executive. The $12 cover charge includes all of the above plus a dinner catered by Daveto's.
Please RSVP by July 9 by phone to Cindy at 970-921-5412, email to firstname.lastname@example.org, text to 919-795-8968, or visit the events link on DCWC's Facebook page and reserve on the event.
Founded in 2008, DCWC provides a safe, caring environment where Delta County women of all ages and backgrounds can come together for a good meal and some girl time. DCWC meets every other month for a catered dinner, live entertainment, friendly conversation, a fun activity, door prizes, and a wonderful inspirational speaker. Free child care is always provided.
Delta County Women's Connection is an outreach of Stonecroft. Find and like DCWC's Facebook page to keep current on events.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
