Longtime Cedaredge resident Donna K. Rendon died Sept. 23, 2017, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta. She was 67.
At her request, no formal services will be held.
Donna Kay Davis was born in Sawpit Oct. 25, 1949, to John and Virginia (Patterson) Davis. She spent her childhood in Telluride and graduated from Telluride High School in 1967.
She attended Delta-Montrose Technical College and graduated in 1973 as an LPN. She was an LPN for Willow Tree Care Center before retiring three years ago due to her deteriorating health. She enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children, Kyle Kelly of Denver, Shawna Loss and Jessica Rendon, both of Delta; a brother, John (Debbie) Davis of Dolores; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Davis; a daughter, Jamie Early; a sister, JoAnn Davis; and a brother, Dwayne Davis.

On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
