Donna Waibel died May 25, 2018, at her home in Cedaredge. She was 91.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at the Cedaredge Cemetery with Terry Wilkerson and Cedaredge Rebekah Lodge #106 officiating. Burial will follow the graveside service.
Donna Weaver was born on March 27, 1927, to Bert and Emma (Faden) Weaver in Chicago, Ill.
She married Leonard Waibel on Sept. 30, 1945, in Walla Walla, Wash.
She was active in the Rebekah Lodge, Three Corner Club and Baca Busy Bees. She enjoyed cooking for her family, watching the wildlife on her farm and playing dominoes.
She is survived by her three children, Rene (Allen) Rider of Ephrata, Pa., Keith (Pam) Waibel and Burt (Hope) Waibel, all of Glenwood Springs; a sister, Betty Hoyt of Nelson, Wash.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Waibel.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
