Emma Pearl Holiman went to be with her Lord on April 5, 2018, at the age of 54.
Emma was born in Delta, Colo., on Sept. 20, 1963, to Roy and Myrneta Schroeder. Emma was the eldest of four children and the most strong willed.
She was married to James Holiman on March 16, 1990. They had four handsome boys, which were the light of Emma's world. Emma was the definition of a soccer mom, always cheering on her boys and nephews for their accomplishments. She was a mother to more than just her own children with a pure gentle heart she radiated her Lord God's Love.
Emma loved the outdoors; camping was the catalyst for family gatherings.
Survivors include husband James Holiman; sons, Jonathan Taylor Holiman, Joshua Landon Holiman, Joseph John Daniel Holiman, Jason Micah Holiman; mother, Myrneta Louise Schroeder; brothers, Melvin Judson Schroeder and Larry Dean Schroeder; along with many nieces and nephews.
Emma is preceded in death by her father Melvin "Roy" Schroeder; sister, Loretta Ann Downey; aunt, Emma Edna Neil; and grandparents.
A service celebrating Emma's life will be held at True Life Church (formerly Cedaredge Assembly of God) Friday, April 13, 2018, at 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
