At their Aug. 6 meeting County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes appointed Jillian Emmons to the Western Regional Emergency Trauma Advisory Council Board for a term expiring in 2020.
Emmons has served as trauma nurse coordinator at Delta County Memorial Hospital since April 2018, and has been employed by DCMH for six years. She has worked in the emergency room, as nursing supervisor and she spent five months with the Hotchkiss Clinic.
Prior to joining DCMH Emmons worked as a nurse in California for nine years.
Emmons said, "I have a lot of experience in critical care and trauma. I think I will make a good addition to the Western Regional Emergency Trauma Advisory Council Board and the appointment will help me be a voice for Delta County and the hospital."
