Not everyone's schedule is the same. At times it can be tricky to find a 4-H club that fits into yours. Fortunately, there are several different clubs in Delta County, offering a variety of options. Some clubs meet weekly, some monthly, some four times a year. Some clubs do numerous fundraisers and community service activities, while others do fewer.
To find a club that works for you, contact the Delta 4-H Extension Office, 874-2195, for a list of clubs and leaders in your area. Enrollment begins Oct. 16.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
