Girl Scout Troop 10083

What do Girl Scouts do with their Girl Scout cookie money? The 19 girls in Troop 10083 chose to help the Delta Food Pantry! Using their cookie money, they went shopping together and bought cereal, mac and cheese, and other food staples to help others in need. Daisies, Brownies, and Junior Scouts came to the food pantry to deliver their goods, learn about pantry services and stock the shelves. One parent even stepped up to become a food pantry volunteer.

The Delta Food Pantry serves the community Monday through Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the rear of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Financial donations may be mailed to 1140 Howard Street, Delta, CO 81416. Please call 970-252-6452 for more information about this community service.
