Grand Mesa Southern Baptist Churches announces its fall break vacation Bible school for grades K-6. VBS takes place during the schools' October break, from Wednesday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 15.
VBS runs Oct. 11-14 from 1 to 4 p.m. On Sunday, it begins at 4 p.m. and will end around 6:30 p.m. Each day students will have crafts, music, Bible study, recreation and snacks. Parents are invited to attend on Sunday evening for a presentation of the songs learned, as well as a barbecue for the family. Activities will include astronomy "telescopes" and star watching at dark. The VBS train and zip line will be running each day.
Register for VBS at the church booth at AppleFest Oct. 7 and 8. Registrations will also be taken at the church, Jay Avenue and Highway 65. For more information, call 640-6520.
The church is excited to offer a fall VBS. While many dads are out hunting, students will enjoy a great fall break by attending both AppleFest and VBS fun.
