Bruce Hovde accepts the oath of office for his second term.Bruce Hovde accepted the oath of office as county commissioner for the second time, and Mark Roeber recited his for the first as the newly elected commissioners took their positions of office at courthouse ceremonies on Tuesday.
Hovde, representing District #2 and Surface Creek Valley, won re-election in November, running unopposed.
Mark Roeber is sworn into office for his first term.Roeber, a rancher and businessman, will represent District #3 and the North Fork Valley area, taking over from Olen Lund who, after eight years in office, was term-limited.
The oaths of office were administered separately to the two men by County Judge Sandra Miller.
The event was attended by some two dozen other elected officials and county department supervisors.
