Photo by Pat Sunderland Prayers for healing Bishop Fernando Isern spoke at a pro-life prayer breakfast held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church the morning of Saturday, Jan. 26. The bishop encouraged those attending the breakfast to speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves — the children in the womb — by quietly and reverently joining the Delta County March for Life. Rain put a damper on the march, but not on the prayers to save lives and for healing for those touched by the tragedy of abortion. Almost 60 million lives have been lost since the Roe v. Wade decision 40 years ago.
