Happenings at Elberta 106

Ruth Ann Dawson will be noble grand, Ann Bristol will be vice grand, Myrna Bertram will be secretary, Dolly Wilson will be treasurer and Donna Waibel will be a trustee.
It was also past noble grand night. There were eight present. The trustees presented each with a pair of earrings that were handmade by Ruth Ann Dawson.
On Dec. 14 members made and delivered 10 Christmas baskets to the shut-in members. All appreciated the gesture.
The birthday club met Dec. 18 at Myrna Bertram's home for a potluck lunch and a lively game of Bunco. It was a very nice afternoon.
The annual Christmas party was held Dec. 20 with 13 members and guests attending. A meal of finger foods was enjoyed by all and Bunco was the evening game. It can be very lively at times. Each brought a Bunco gift to share and the evening concluded with secret sisters exchanging gifts.
Elberta 106 presented outgoing noble grand Bonnie Pope with a gift certificate for a good year.
On Jan. 6 in Delta will be installation of new officers for 2013.
Elberta 106 meets on the second and fourth Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
