Jeannine "Kaye" Myers died June 11, 2013, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, Mo. She was 82.
Jennine Gellatly was born in Codell, Kan., Aug. 2, 1930, to Harold and Florence (Adams) Gellatly.
She attended Hotch-kiss High School.
On Aug. 10, 1947, she married James Chester "JC" Myers in Hotchkiss.
Mrs. Myers worked at JC Myers Construction Company throughout her career. She worked at Central Missouri State University and was a real estate broker until her retirement.
She was a member of, the Dozen Club, a bridge group, the WD40s and the Order of Eastern Star #3 in Warrensburg, Mo., serving as Grand Ruth in 1983.
Mrs. Myers enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and people.
She is survived by her husband, JC Myers; her sons, Don Myers and wife Lorrie, and Richard Myers and partner Becki Jenkins, all of Warrensburg, Mo.; her sister, Karen Martin and husband Harold of Hotchkiss; her brother, Gary Gellatly and partner Gail of Cortez; her stepsister, Dixie Kenyon and husband Calvin of Chester, Neb.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Myers; and a stepbrother, Mick Springer.
Funeral services were held June 15 at Sweeney-Philips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Interment was at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
