Comadora "Junior" Hensley died from cancer June 26, 2013, in Grand Junction. He was 58.
He was born in Hawthorne, Calif., Aug 9, 1954, to Comadora "Tom" and Fay (Brown) Hensley.
Mr. Hensley enjoyed yard sales, hunting, fishing, reading and studying the Bible, and sharing his Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Allee Hensley; six children, Thomas Hensley and wife Amberleigh, Christopher Hensley and wife Jane, Vikki Jo Hensley, Levi Allee, and Zoe Hensley; nine grandchildren, Dominic, Julia, Mahala, Caladora, Isaiah, Teyten, Rooke, Mckenna and Keira; a brother, Billy Hensley; a sister, Kay Langer and husband Richard; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Allee and Bill Landon; a brother-in-law, Wes Bowers and Amanda Blake; an uncle, Noah Hensley and wife Joyce of Olathe; and an aunt, Georgia Vincent of Delta.
He was preceded in death by his father, Comadora "Tom" Hensley; his mother, Fay Hensley; and his stepmother, Maxine Atchley Hensley.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Lions Pavilion. A barbecue will follow; guests are asked to bring a side dish.
