Longtime Crawford resident Hazel M. Clark died Monday, July 15, 2013, in Crawford. She was 94.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Hazel M. Hawk was born Jan. 9, 1919, in Pine Bluffs, Wyo., to Guy and Ethel (Castor) Hawk. The family moved to Grand Junction in 1922 and to Delta in 1929. She graduated from Olathe High School in 1936.
On Jan. 25, 1938, she married Floyd Clark. They lived in Palisade until 1940 when they moved to Crawford.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed the outdoors, irrigating and most of all her family and friends. She was a member of the Fire Auxiliary and Needle Rock Club.
She is survived by four sons, Glen Clark and wife Sharon, Larry Clark and wife Stephanie, Roger Clark and wife Kathy and Ralph Clark and wife Jolie, all of Crawford; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Betty Rogers of Grand Junction; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers.
