Mary Daniels died Sept. 4, 2013, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. She was 59.
A celebration of life was held Sept. 7 at Paonia Town Park.
Mary Margaret Milner was born in Hanover, Kan., Oct. 19, 1953, to Robert and Joan (Schultz) Milner. She spent her childhood and attended school in Clayton, Kan. She moved to Paonia in 1970 and graduated from Paonia High School in 1971.
She has lived in Paonia since 1970, with the exception of a few years in Grand Junction.
On Dec. 11, 1972, she married Floyd Daniels in Paonia.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Paonia. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother, gardening, teaching children and volunteering at school and daycare centers.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by her husband, Floyd Daniels of Paonia; her children, Curtis Daniels and wife Christina and Cristy Daniels, all of Paonia; her brothers, John "Batman" Milner of Norton, Kan., Richard "Tad" Milner, Ed (Dawn) Milner, Gregory "Pete" Milner and Mark Milner, all of Paonia; her sisters, Melinda Ruble and husband Enis of Hotchkiss, Annette Milner of Paonia, Patricia Carr and husband Jay, and Janis Milner, all of Grand Junction; and 11 grandchildren.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
