Cedaredge resident Scott Edward Davis died Sept. 7, 2013, as a result of a motorcycle accident near Cedaredge. He was 36.
The Davis family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13, at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Scott Edward Davis was born in Galveston, Texas, June 1, 1977, to Charles Sr. and Becky Davis. He spent his childhood in Arkansas and around Delta County. He attended school in Olathe.
Mr. Davis was a welder in the oil field industry. He was an artist and enjoyed motorcycles, spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking and weight lifting.
He is survived by his daughter, Kama of Arkansas; his mother and stepfather, Becky and Ken Sharpe of Delta; his father and stepmother, Charles and Lynne Davis of Arkansas; one brother, Noel Davis and wife Mandy and daughters Shayna and Kayla of Cedaredge; his grandmothers, Geraldine Knighton-Greinert of Purdon, Texas, Annabell Sharpe of Commerce City and Delois Wallace of Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and three stepbrothers.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Knighton and John Davis Sr.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
