Alova J. Wohlfahrt died Sept. 2, 2013. She was 84.
Funeral services were held Sept. 6 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment followed in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion, Texas.
Mrs. Wohlfahrt was born in Crawford Dec. 29, 1928, to Charles and Katy (Collins) Pipher.
She is survived by her children, Harvey Deatherage and wife Pat, Johnny Deatherage, James Deatherage and wife Laurie, Kerrie Glover and boyfriend David Stolleis, Karleen Back and boyfriend Floyd Chamniss, Edward Wohlfahrt and wife Brenda; stepdaughters, Joyce Dale and husband Alan, Connie Kennedy and husband Wayne and Beverley Kleinjan and husband David; siblings, Luce Pipher, Crystal Pipher, Hetty Todd and husband Larry and Kermit Pipher and wife Laura; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Wohlfahrt; her grandson, Scott Deatherage; her granddaughters, Shayne Deatherage and Heather Glover; one brother; and two sisters.
