Lifelong Delta resident Dora Valdez is facing a liver transplant after being diagnosed with an illness called NASH. NASH stands for Non-Alcoholic Steato Hepatitis and is a form of liver cirrhosis which develops from a fatty liver. Dora also suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure.
