Eva VeitchEva Veitch has joined the Region 10 League for Economic Assistance & Planning as program coordinator of Community Living Services, a newly-created position designed to bring together and enhance the services offered through the non-profit organization to older adults and people living with disabilities. Veitch, who formerly served as director of outreach for Volunteers of America, believes that she will now be able to more directly impact those who need services.

Alpine Banks of Colorado has just announced its next big move — expansion to the Front Range in 2013. A site in lower downtown Denver has been selected for the new Alpine Bank location with plans to begin serving the public by the third quarter of 2013.

Years of planning and negotiating are about to pay off for the Tri-County Water Conservancy District as construction crews recently began the process of tapping the green power potential stored in Ridgway Dam. When the project is complete, a hydropower plant with two generators will produce hydroelectric power to be distributed to local area customers.
