During his finance committee report at the Nov. 13 Paonia Town Council meeting, trustee Larry Wissbeck announced that the town should not expect to be fully reimbursed for money alleged to have been stolen over a four-year period.
According to Wissbeck, the town's insurance company, CIRSA, told Jim Briscoe, town attorney, the full amount stolen is not covered in their policy.
CIRSA may only pay $150,000 of the approximately $400,000 discovered missing from the Town of Paonia.
