The Heart & Soul Project is offering mini-grants intended to provide resources to start up or sustain efforts in the North Fork Valley that exemplify the community's nine values. Those values are small town feel; sense of community; the economy; traditions and heritage; the rural environment; food and water; freedom, personal responsibility and independence; diversity; arts and culture.
This opportunity is for people and projects that will help steward our values moving forward. Funds are provided by the Western Colorado Community Foundation and the North Fork Heart & Soul Project.
A People's Choice grant award will be chosen at the second day of the North Fork Heart & Soul Community Summit, "We Take Care of Our Own" on Oct. 26. All other awards will be decided by Oct. 31.
