The Town of Cedaredge is upgrading its financial computer software because the current version is no longer being "supported" by the vendor. Town trustees last month were told that the process of training staff on the new system will begin with a seminar two employees will be attending.
The training session will give the staffers a chance to learn the new software and then train other personnel when they return to Cedaredge from the Las Vegas computer seminar, explained Town Administrator Katie Sickles.
Total cost of travel, lodging, training, and meals will be $2,024. That amount breaks down as follows: conference registration, $850; three nights lodging and partial meals, $974; fuel, $200.
