Cedaredge's Lady Bruins participated in three different volleyball matches this last week.
On Monday, Aspen visited the Lady Bruins and were beaten in five sets.
A Tuesday match in Craig resulted in a 3-0 win for Cedaredge and Thursday's encounter with Coal Ridge was a 3-0 loss for the Lady Bruins.

All but one of the five sets played were close. Cedaredge won the opening set 25-20 and then fell 25-14 to the Lady Skiers in set two.
Cedaredge got back on the winning track with a 25-21 win in set three but fell 25-22 in set three to tie the match at 2-2.
The fifth, and deciding set, went to Cedaredge 15-10.

Though none of the three sets played was easy, a three-set victory is good news for the Lady Bruins.
Moffat County played hard in the first set but in the end could not stay with Cedaredge in a 29-27 loss.
Set two was a bit lower-scoring with the same two-point spread in a 25-23 victory.
The final set provided the widest margin of victory with Cedaredge winning 25-21.

The visiting Lady Titans turned the tables on Cedaredge last Thursday. A two-match win streak came to an end with Coal Ridge stopping the Lady Bruins in three straight sets.
All three of the sets played were closely contested. The Lady Titans won the first two sets 25-23 and ended the match with a 25-21 decision in set three.
Cedaredge played Ridgway Tuesday and is scheduled to face Olathe on Thursday (Oct. 17) at 6 p.m. and Grand Valley on Saturday at 3 p.m.blog comments powered by Disqus
