The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will perform a concert Friday, July 19, on the lawn at The Bridges to benefit the Dolphin House, the child advocacy center providing services for abused children throughout the 7th Judicial District of western Colorado, which includes Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel counties. Dolphin House offers a warm, home-like environment in which abused children can receive help from child protective services, law enforcement, the district attorney's office, mental health professionals, victim advocates and medical professionals.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. with the opening group The Browns, followed by special guest Dave Stamey and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. The outdoor venue at The Bridges features the beautiful San Juan Mountains as a backdrop. Concertgoers are asked to bring chairs or blankets to place on the lawn. Food and beverage concessions will be available. The event is presented by The Stone House, The Bridges and Blue Sky Entertainment.
General admission tickets are $35. They may be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com Event #389605 or search Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
