First, it must be expressly understood that Mallach is not a bear (although he was once mistaken for one). And it must also be recognized that (although he's only four years old) he is nevertheless a sizeable dog. Even so -- at 120 pounds, 2' 5" tall and 39 inches from nose to tail -- he is small for his breed.
Friends, families and staff from Crossroads Assisted Living celebrated in a big way last week, by observing the 101st birthday of resident Anna Marie Suppes and the 100th birthdays of residents Virginia Harris, Margaret Fowler, Helen Wood and Hazel Denike.

The Mad Hatter quilt ladies presented a trunk show for residents at Crossroads on Thursday morning, Nov. 10. Mad Hatters wore their signature "mad" hats as quilt stories and memories were exchanged between the Mad Hats and residents.
