The North Fork Pool, Park and Recreation District has two- and four-year board seats open for the upcoming election on May 8. The three directors will be elected to serve four-year terms, and a director will be elected to serve a two-year term.
The diagram on the left represents the blueprints for the proposed Hotchkiss High School/North Fork Pool and Parks Recreation District baseball/softball fields provided by Mesa Engineering and Surveying Co., Inc., in Montrose.
The North Fork Pool, Parks & Recreation District has partnered with Hotchkiss Home Plate Baseball Association to build a baseball and softball complex to the North Fork Pool on Bulldog Street. They are currently working on a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant application to fund the project.
After many years, the North Fork Pool, Park and Recreation District is moving forward on its next phase to bring more recreational opportunities to the valley, this time in the form of new baseball and softball fields.
"We have partnered with Hotchkiss Home Plate to continue our master plan of building baseball fields at the Crossroads property," said Lenore Cambria, the district administrator of the NFPPRD.
