5:01 a.m.: Officers responded to 101 Highway 92 on a report of shoplifting. James C. Hollis was issued a summons.
11:45 a.m.: Officers responded to an abandoned vehicle call at 430 West 8th Street. The vehicle was towed.
12:35 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 100 block of Confluence Drive. The driver was issued a proof of service and driver's license was confiscated. A verbal warning was given for the traffic infraction.
12:40 p.m.: Officers responded to 122 Gunnison River Drive for a report of shoplifting. James C. Bonati and Daniel J. Winter were issued a summons.
1:14 p.m.: Officers arrested James Bonati on a warrant with a $1,500 bond.
5:41 p.m.: Officers responded to 122 Gunnison River Drive for a report of shoplifting. Ashley M. Clements was issued a summons.
6:43 a.m.: Officers responded to Hwy. 92 for a traffic accident. Janet Stewart was issued a summons for careless driving.
10:11 a.m.: Officers responded to 104 Meeker Street for a report of theft. A warrant has been issued for David Lepiche.

12:32 p.m.: Officers received a phone call regarding a possible assault which occurred at 612 Silver Street several months ago.
1 p.m.: Officers were informed of a juvenile female who had run away from a facility in Grand Junction.
7:04 p.m.: Officers responded to 37 Stafford Lane for a report of shoplifting. Maximiliano Alverez was issued a summons.
8:55 p.m.: Officer was dispatched to 727 Dodge Street for a report of criminal mischief.
9:45 p.m.: Officers responded to 581 West Apple Street for a welfare check. Rhonda Gonzales was arrested on a warrant.
11:07 p.m.: Officers responded to 37 Stafford Lane for a wanted person. Geri Williams was arrested on a warrant.
12:19 p.m.: Officers responded to 215 West 5th street for a report of an identity theft.
11:41 p.m.: Officers responded to 37 Stafford Lane for a report of a possible shoplifting. Crystal D. Reinbold was issued a summons for shoplifting and trespass.
2:59 p.m.: Officers responded to 875 Terrace Street for a report of burglary.
7 p.m.: Officers responded to 2125 Pioneer Road #5 for a report of an assault. Jasmine Knarr was arrested.
12:04 a.m.: Officers responded to 215 West 5th Street for a report of possible criminal mischief.
7:28 a.m.: Officers responded to 1501 East 3rd Street for a report of an assault. David Baker was arrested charges of assault in the second degree.
8:45 a.m.: Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy. 92 and North Main Street for a two-vehicle accident.
10:01 a.m.: Officers responded to 7108 Hwy. #B for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.
2:55 p.m.: Officers responded to 110 Hwy. 92 on a report of theft.
5:01 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to 180 Gunnison River Road for an attempted suicide. The individual was transported to the hospital.
1:09 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to 1144 Bluff Street for a report of shots fired. This incident is still under investigation.
11:14 a.m.: Officers responded to 1024 Main Street for a report of a burglary.
11:33 a.m.: Officers responded to 184 Garnet Avenue for an unattended death.
1:57 p.m.: Officers responded to 824 Crawford Avenue for a report of vicious dogs running around the area. Siria P. Pacheco was issued a summons.
2:49 p.m.: Officers responded to 1325 Hwy. 50 on a report of theft.
9:36 p.m.: Officers contacted a vehicle with fictitious plates. Zachary A. Hooker was arrested and jailed on charges of DUI, fictitious plates and drove with license revoked.
Citations: Six tickets were issued this week for various traffic violations.
From the Delta County Sheriff's Office (partial list):
Deputies interviewed a Cedaredge resident regarding three new flat screen TVs she had pawned, part of an investigation into the theft of six TVs from Walmart. The information was turned over to the Delta Police Department.
A special agent from the U.S. Department of Energy requested the assistance of deputies while interviewing a Hotchkiss man about the use of federal funds. The man was reported to be cooperative and the special agents left without making any arrests.
A Hotchkiss man reported the theft of several inexpensive items. He blamed a neighbor, but after interviews, deputies were convinced the neighbor was not involved in the incident.
Tyler Scheetz, 23, of Eckert was charged with criminal mischief involving domestic violence after an incident on Vaca Drive. He is accused of breaking the windshield out of his wife's car.
A woman on Buena Vista Road, Delta, reported mailboxes had been broken into.
The death of a 54-year-old Hotchkiss woman was determined to be a suicide.
A contractor hired to cut trees near Paonia's Volunteer Park reportedly loaded his truck iwith firewood, then left without repairing the fence or picking up all of his equipment. The contract dispute was determined to be civil in nature.
At about 3 a.m., Paonia firefighters were dispatched to a home at 43011 Bowie Road, Paonia. The occupant of the home woke up, found the house filled with smoke and went to a neighbor's to call 911. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames. The cause is unknown, but a woodburning stove is suspected. The Red Cross found a motel room for the occupant until other arrangements can be made.
A 17-year-old Paonia girl was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting her mother. The teen was also in possession of a knife. She was charged with menacing and third degree assault and transported to Grand Mesa Youth Services Center in Grand Junction.
A man was burning leaves on 2165 Road, Austin, at about noon when the wind picked up and the fire spread to a neighboring hayfield. The fire was extinguished by Cedaredge firefighters. Some gated pipe was melted; the two parties involved in the incident said they would work out payment for damages. No charges were filed.
A resident of F Road, Delta, complained about a neighborhood dog that frequently wanders onto the road and has caused several near accidents.
A Hotchkiss man reported his girlfriend had stolen his wallet, which contained his paycheck.
