Delta resident Lynda Jean Vincent died July 24, 2018, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. She was 54.
A celebration of life was held July 28 at her home, with Reverend Greg Farmer officiating.
Mrs. Vincent was born in Oceanside, Calif., on Aug. 16, 1963. She lived in the Carlsbad, Calif., area before moving to Ridgway in 1973. She graduated from Ridgway High School in 1981. She spent most of her adult life in the Montrose/Delta area. She worked as a real estate agent and at Delta County Memorial Hospital.
On June 17, 2006, she married Larry Vincent in Delta.
She lived in Delta for 14 years and was a member of Crosspoint Church in Grand Junction. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Sally Garrett of Montrose; stepfather, Gary Garrett of Cortez; husband, Larry Vincent of Delta; son, Justin Brown of San Diego, Calif.; four daughters, Carlie Sims, April (Ray) Sanchez and Heather (Andrew) Tyner, all of Delta, and Ashley Vincent (Levi Leger) of Rifle; two sisters, Sheri (Bryon) Campbell of La Mesa, Calif., and Jan Clark of Montrose; six grandchildren; and one nephew.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory handled the arrangements.
