In Orchard City the voters selected Jan Gage, Doug Keller and Mel Cook as trustees in the municipal election of April 3.
The vote tally was:

Robert Eckels -- 283
Joe Gorrod -- 215
The voters also were overwhelmingly opposed to three different taxing questions.
Measure 2D, which sought a mill levy increase, was defeated with 897 votes opposed and 123 votes in favor.
Measure 2E, which sought to impose a sales tax, excise tax and a transaction tax on the sale of marijuana, was defeated with 897 votes opposed and 270 votes in favor.
Measure 2F, which would have imposed a municipal sales tax of 3 percent, was defeated with 868 votes opposed and 164 votes in favor.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
