How fortunate we who live in Delta are to have Confluence Park.It offers opportunities for fishing, boating, dog walking, bike riding and now playing frisbee golf. Unfortunately an increasing number of people have chosen to disregard the posted rules and do not have their dog on a leash while walking the trails. Last week my dog was attacked by a vicious dog not on a leash. No owner was in sight. When she did appear she was unable to stop the attack. I had to cover my dog with my body so she could get her dog under control and and on a leash. There is a large area designated for dogs to be loose. Those of you who choose to walk on the trails with your dog, for the safety of your dog and other dogs and human walkers, please keep your dog on a leash.
