Training offered for produce growers

Produce growers are being impacted by a new federal regulation called the Food Safety Modernization Act, Produce Safety Rule. To be compliant with the rule, growers need to attend a certified training.

Drama club presents trio of comedies

The Hotchkiss High School Drama Club will present three comedies in one March 22 and 23. "Two of the comedies are by one of our favorite playwrights, Don Zolidis," said director Lenore Cambria.

Evangelist Charles R. Sanders will conduct a Bible Evangelism Crusade at Garnet Mesa Baptist Church, 863 A Street, Delta, March 18-21.

Train to be a lifeguard

Bill Heddles Recreation Center is holding American Red Cross blended learning lifeguard classes Monday-Friday April 16-20. Classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Alive at 25 offered

"Alive at 25," a defensive driving course, is offered to drivers ages 15-24. A Colorado State Patrol trooper will provide approximately four hours of classroom instruction designed to prevent traffic violations, collisions and/or fatalities.

Voices of the world join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

In commemoration of the Easter season, the world is invited to join their voices with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra on Temple Square. This is a momentous gathering of all faiths in a celebration of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
