Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Monday-Thursday), Delta Community Center (Monday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Thursday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Wednesday, May 3 -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, Oriental blend veggies, creamy fruit, wheat roll, cake and a quarter of an orange.
Thursday, May 4 -- Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, chateau vegetables, V-8 juice, onion-rye roll and bread pudding.
Friday, May 5 -- Chicken enchilada casserole, diced tomatoes, sour cream, mixed greens, summer squash mix, refried beans and churro.
Monday, May 8 -- Barbecue beef, coleslaw, baked beans, western corn and banana.
Tuesday, May 9 -- Oven-fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamy cucumber salad, carrots and zucchini, buttermilk biscuit and fresh fruit dessert.
Wednesday, May 10 -- Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, Italian blend vegetables, garlic breadstick and cinnamon applesauce.
Thursday, May 11 -- Roast turkey with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, tossed salad, broccoli, breadstick and pineapple right-side-up cake.
Friday, May 12 -- Beef patty with carrot and onion gravy over brown rice, roll, cottage cheese and peach salad, green beans and ice cream.
Monday, May 15 -- Beef burrito, lettuce/onion/tomato, green chili sauce, refried beans, western corn, half an orange and oatmeal raisin cookie.
Tuesday, May 16 -- Baked paprika chicken, creamy brown rice with mushrooms, mandarin spinach salad, California blend vegetables and morning glory muffin.
Wednesday, May 17 -- Ham loaf, baked sweet potato, tomato cucumber salad, peas and apple crisp.
Thursday, May 18 -- Turkey ala king over brown rice, Scandinavian blend vegetables, cranberry juice, rye roll and sunset yogurt dessert.
