Senior CommUnity meals are served at four dining sites in Delta County -- Cedaredge Community Center (Monday-Thursday), Delta Community Center (Monday-Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday-Thursday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Meals on Wheels are also delivered from each location. Thursday, March 1 -- Baked chicken breast on fettucine alfredo, candied bacon Brussels sprouts, roll and apple crisp.
Friday, March 2 -- Beef, cheese and rice burrito with green sauce, lettuce/onion/tomato, potato wedges, baked beans and fruit cocktail.
Monday, March 5 -- Chicken pot pie, onion roll, three-bean salad and tropical fruit.
Tuesday, March 6 -- Chili con carne with cheddar cheese and diced onion, pea and cheese salad, cornbread and fruit cocktail.
Wednesday, March 7 -- Roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, kidney bean salad, broccoli, wheat roll and birthday cake.
Thursday, March 8 -- Barbecue chicken breast, potato salad, bell pepper, carrots and onions, oatmeal roll and cinnamon roll.

The seventh annual Eckert Crane Days, the annual viewing of the sandhill cranes migrating north from New Mexico through Colorado's West Slope, will be March 16-18. Representatives from the Black Canyon Chapter of the Audubon Society (BCAS) will be at the viewing site east of Eckert at Fruitgrowers Reservoir, 9 to 11 a.m. each day, to answer questions and provide binoculars and spotting scopes.
