Reese Wagner, 50, of Cedaredge was cited for failure to yield right of way after a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 65 and 92. The accident was reported at 4:44 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
The Colorado State Patrol reports that Wagner was eastbound on Highway 92, preparing to make a lefthand turn onto Highway 65. He allegedly pulled in front of a 2006 GMC SUV which was headed westbound on Highway 92. Wagner's vehicle then struck a third vehicle, a 2015 Ford pickup, that had stopped at the stop sign on Highway 65, preparing to turn onto Highway 92.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and a second driver was cited for driving without a driver's license.
No drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
