The Orchard City Board of Trustees held a special meeting on April 25. Mayor Ken Volgamore presented outgoing trustees Tom Huerkamp, Gary Tollefson and Bob Eckels with plaques of appreciation for their efforts while serving on the board. Bob Eckels was unable to attend.
Town clerk Melissa Oelke administered the oath of office to newly elected trustees Jan Gage, Doug Keller and Mel Cook. The new trustees then took their seats at the table.
After the meeting, a reception was held honoring the outgoing and the newly elected trustees. Approximately 30 Orchard City residents attended the meeting and the reception.
