Kaitlyn Nicole Tuell, daughter of Randy and Monika Tuell of Grand Junction, and Nicholas Zachary Sacco, son of Nick Sacco of Pennsylvania and Ronda Sacco, formerly of Delta, exchanged wedding vows July 8, 2017, at the Avalon Theater in Grand Junction.
Monika Tuell performed the double-ring ceremony. A reception with dinner and dancing followed at Varaison Winery in Palisade.
The maid of honor was Chelsea Neumeier, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lacy Tuell and Randi Tuell, sisters of the bride.
The groom's best friend, Derrick Blodgett, served as the best man, and Kayle Vernon of Ouray and Taylor Tuell, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Delta High School and is attending Colorado Mesa University. He is employed by Mesa County in engineering.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Fruita Monument High School and attends Colorado Mesa University. She is employed by Mesa County Library.
The couple will make their home in New York.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
