Virginia Sisnroy of Eliza, Ill., died Oct. 2, 2018, at her home. She was 86.
She was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Pueblo, to Carl and Grace Murrish Schultz.
On March 31, 1950, she married Edward Sisnroy in Pueblo. After his death in 1988, she moved to Hotchkiss for 15 years. She moved to Eliza, Ill, to live with her son Joey.
She enjoyed ranching and farming with her husband's family in Walsenburg. She was an artist and had her own business called "Virginia's Arts and Crafts" where she sold paintings, sculptures and ceramics. She raised flowers for the Colorado State Fair. When she moved to Eliza Township, she enjoyed working on the farm and taking care of the animals with her son.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Sisnroy (Steve Pearl) of Boulder Creek, Calif., Edward Jr. "Joey" (Amber) of Eliza, Ill., Nancy (Scott) Schuster of Pueblo and Thomas (Julie) Sisnroy of Powder Springs, Ga.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alice Threadgill of Pueblo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; two brothers, Raymond and Frank; her mother-in-law, Dora Sisnroy; and extended family.
