Mad Lib Lyric Generator. Teens are invited to Cedaredge Library to try out a lyric generator. Like a Mad Lib, teens will enter in a little information -- a few words here and there -- and voila! It generates a full-length song with (often hilarious) lyrics. June 26-30 at Cedaredge Library.
Family Musical Scavenger Hunt. Bring the entire family to embark on a musical scavenger hunt around Cedaredge! Visit the Cedaredge Library to pick up your map and then search for the musical instruments around town. July 3-7 during library hours.
June StoryWalk®. The June StoryWalk® book on the Surface Creek Trail is "The Man with the Violin" by Kathy Stinson. Dylan is swept away by the music he hears in the subway station ... a man playing a violin. As crowds of oblivious people hurry past, Dylan wants to stop and listen. Find out how the story goes on the Surface Creek Trail in June. Then, visit the Cedaredge Library for activities and a take-home craft related to the story.
Crafts Group. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show and tell.
Tech Soup Saturday. Bring your devices and your questions. Our expert "techies" will do their best to answer your questions. Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Echolocation and the Science of Sound. Kids are invited to the library for a program on echolocation and the science of sound. Explore sound experiments and learn how bats and dolphins use echolocation to communicate. Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m.
Patriotic Family Scavenger Hunt. Bring the entire family to Delta Library to embark on a patriotic song scavenger hunt! Pick up the first clue at Delta Library and then work together to find the remaining clues around the city of Delta and piece together the patriotic song. July 2-7 during library hours.
Genealogy One-on-One. Get the help you need researching your genealogy in this ongoing class taught by Mickey Watts. Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 5 p.m.
Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Never Play Music Right Next to the Zoo. Kids are invited to the Paonia Library for a read-along concert. Zoo animals take over the bandstand in this musical story. Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m.
Name That Tune Scavenger Hunt. Bring the entire family to Paonia Library to embark on a musical note scavenger hunt through the town of Paonia! Pick up your first clue at Paonia Library and see if you can discover the song by finding additional clues. Winners can collect a small prize from Paonia Library upon completion. July 3-7 during library hours.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
