Cedaredge

Storytimes. Storytimes for babies, tots and preschoolers are Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m.

Summer Reading: Ready. Set. BUILD! Children will design blueprints, construct monuments, and discover the limitless possibilities for building. Thursday, July 13, at 2 p.m.

Cedaredge Friends Meeting. The monthly program is from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by light refreshments with the regular meeting from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 13.

Computer Class: Saving and Finding Files. Learn how to save files and find files on your computer in this easy to follow class. Friday, July 14, at 10:30 a.m.

Teen Summer Reading. Solar power program with SEI. Learn the basics of solar energy, build your own solar powered water fountain, wire and power small electronics with solar panels, and design and use a solar cooker. As always, a prize drawing, free food, and a chance to win a drone! Friday, July 14, at 2 p.m.

Summer Storytimes. July themes will include robots, building with food, build-a-fort, reduce/reuse/recycle, tools are cool, outdoor build-off, building around the world and puzzles. Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Summer Maker Space. "Build a Better World" by trying your hand at the complete architectural design kit to make a better building! This will be available all summer long during library hours to go with our theme for summer reading.

Cedaredge Teen Program. Week seven of teen summer reading in Cedaredge will feature white box creations. Fun activities, a prize drawing, free food, and a chance to be entered to win a drone! Friday, July 21, at 2 p.m.

Summer Reading: Final Party. Thursday, July 27, 2 to 3 p.m.

Computer Class: Clean Up and Speed Up. Learn strategies to clean up and speed up your computer is this easy-to-follow class. Friday, July 28, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Crafts Group. Crafters meet each Tuesday at 10 a.m. to share ideas and show and tell. Contact the library at 399-7674 for details.

Tech Soup Saturday. Bring your devices and your questions. Our expert "techies" will do their best to answer your questions. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Teen Summer Reading Program. Dynamic presenters, real life stories, fun and engaging activities, and preparing (and eating!) delicious food will be the theme of Crawford Library's teen summer reading program. Weekly prizes, comic book giveaways and a grand prize drawing for a drone! Every Thursday at 2 p.m.

Summer Reading: Kindness Rocks. Show the world you make a difference through rock art. Paint a meaningful picture, word or quote on a rock to take home or share with others. Wednesday, July 19, 10:30 a.m.

Delta Book Club. Meets the third Saturday of every month. This month, choose your own book to read and come to the meeting prepared to give an overview and share your thoughts! Saturday, July 15, 1 p.m.

Adult Maker Space: Stationery and Greeting Cards. Adults can come to the Delta Library during library hours and make personalized stationery and greeting cards. All supplies are provided. Brought to you by the Delta Library and the 2017 adult summer reading program. Monday-Saturday, July 17-22.

Genealogy One-on-One. Get the help you need researching your genealogy in this ongoing class taught by Mickey Watts. Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 5 p.m.

Magic the Gathering. Teens can come to the library to play and trade cards for Magic the Gathering! Tournaments every first Saturday at 10 a.m.

Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Concert Series: Sarah Eller and David Snider. Sarah Eller has performed as a blues, jazz, and rock vocalist for twenty years, with a small break to beat thyroid cancer. David Snider is a songwriter, composer, producer, arranger and Colorado-based musician who has performed on guitar, bass and keyboard throughout the world. David has led a string of bands that performed some of his vast collection of original material including rock, blues, funk, jazz, fusion and gospel. Tuesday, July 18, 6:30-8 p.m.

Concert Series: Beth Quist. Beth Quist is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer who began playing piano at age 2. She was lead soprano and instrumentalist for the creation band in Cirque du Soleil's "KA", and currently performs solo, with Sherefe which specializes in Balkan and Middle Eastern music. She has sung and toured with Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra since 1997, and appears on his albums. Beth has also composed over 50 scores for dance, theater, television and film, including musical contributions to the Emmy-nominated documentary "The Two Escobars." Other notable musical collaborations include Roger Fisher (Heart) & Scott Cossu (Windham Hill). Tuesday, July 25, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Restoring the Lost Art of Movement. Come to this informative workshop filled with life hacks for restoring the lost art of movement. Explore bio-mechanics and the idea that movement is medicine. You will leave this workshop with new skills, tools and body awareness. Invite your friends and learn to breathe deeper and release pain out of your body. Wednesday, July 26, 6 p.m.
