Maker Space: Egg Carton Animals. This month you will be able to make an animal out of egg cartons. This is a fun and easy craft, open to all ages.
Computer Class: Basic Internet Skills. This is an easy-to-follow computer class that will help you use and explore the internet better. Friday, Sept. 8, 10:30 a.m.
Friends of the Cedaredge Library Meeting. Monthly program at 2 p.m., followed by refreshments and the regular meeting at 3 p.m. All are welcome! Thursday, Sept. 14.

Genealogy One-on-One. Get the help you need researching your genealogy in this ongoing class taught by Mickey Watts. Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 5 p.m.
Break the Code Scavenger Hunt. Find the letters to crack the code to win a prize! All month long in September.
St. Mary's Blood Drive. St. Mary's is bringing the bloodmobile to Delta Library for a blood drive. Monday, Sept. 11, 10 a.m.
Friends of the Delta Library Meeting. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 3 p.m. Public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Magic the Gathering. Teens can come to the library to play and trade cards for Magic the Gathering! Tournaments every first Saturday at 10 a.m.
Talk & Tangle Yarn. This is a group of knit and crochet enthusiasts who get together to talk and work on their individual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m.

Tomato Fest! Join us for the fourth annual Tomato Festival in Hotchkiss on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 1-3 p.m. This event will take place alongside the regular Saturday Farmers Market by The Creamery Arts Center and will feature a range of fun activities including a tomato-themed fashion show, tomato taste testing and judging and a book sale. Leading up to this event, there will be a tomato-themed haiku writing contest. The winners will be announced Sept. 16 at the festival. The tomato fashion show will begin at 2 p.m.

Distance Learning Program. Do you need your high school equivalency but are unable to attend our classes? Delta County Libraries now has a distance learning program that offers participants the ability to work from home with an online program to prepare for the test. Two fatal accidents occurred in Delta County within a two-day span last week.
Casey Gillenwater, 25, of Delta was killed the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 13, in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 133 outside of Hotchkiss.
